Sara Reel Bio

I was born Cielo Cepeda in Bogota, Colombia and given up for adoption to the FANA Orphanage in January 1977.  I was adopted that same year and was brought to the United States at three months old to be raised in New York.  We lived in Long Island, Brooklyn and Queens, New York.  

At the age of 36, I embarked on the journey to find my biological mother.  I searched the internet and with the help of a colleague, located her on FaceBook.  I reached out to her family and friends via Facebook but found that no one knew of my existence.  It turns out my biological mother had me as a teenager and was told I did not survive the birth.  She had no idea I was alive which created confusion and aroused strong emotions for all of us.  

I eventually reunited with her in Colombia.  That reunion not only changed my life but gave me purpose.  It inspired me to help others achieve their personal and professional goals.  This is why I started Through the Eyes of a Rainbow Child Foundation and am committed to life and wellness coaching.

I am self made, as they say.  I started working in food service and retail at the age of 14, becoming the youngest manager for Wendy's at 17 years old and also excelled as a manager for the GAP.  I networked my way into FRYE starting in customer service without a college degree, then promoted to the marketing department and managed public relations. I was eventually promoted to sales.

I quickly moved up the ranks to large corporate retail accounts.   I have over 20 years of experience at FRYE, now serving as a full-time wholesale Senior Account Executive for the national footwear brand. Having developed and implemented business strategies for retail accounts across the country, I reached multi-millions in sales goals year after year.  I am currently the CEO of Reel Property Group and President of Through the Eyes of a Rainbow Child, two major entrepreneurial projects I am leading.

I seek to empower women, utilizing my life and career experience and offer guidance towards wellness and success.  I am committed to helping all women and am particularly passionate about helping women of color.

I am a Certified Life and Holistic Health Wellness Coach and am continuously yearning for self awareness and development.  I look forward to working with you on your journey.
